All I ask is that you have done a modicum of preliminary research to understand the basics, including reading all the pages on my website and googling anything that you need clarification on. I am happy to help you dip your toes in or jump off the deep-end, depending on how brave you are ;)

In an unregulated industry such as this one where there is little recourse when things go awry, sending a deposit can cause understandable hesitation. However, please understand that without a deposit, I simply cannot do what is necessary in order to prepare for our appointment: paying for the studio (which is non-refundable for me), getting ready, traveling to the studio, and setting up.

I will never take money from a person without following through on my end of the commitment, ever. Should you be too uncomfortable with paying a deposit to move forward with me, I recommend pursuing other options -- no harm, no foul.

Absolutely! Ethics rank high on my code of personal values, and I would feel legitimately terrible going against somebody's consent for any reason. I want you to have a great time with me and to leave with a smile on your face, and I want you to come back as well! Disrespecting your boundaries would make you upset, me upset, and would likely cause me to lose you as a client. If you have any limits that you want to discuss in greater detail with me before playing, please let me know.

I understand that everyone has a different schedule and that you may find it difficult to find time to visit me during my posted hours.
